Helmsman LLC Strengthens Leadership with Appointment of Practice Group Co-Heads for Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions and Intellectual Property Practice Groups
Singapore - Helmsman LLC, a leading multi-disciplinary law firm, today announced the appointment of four lawyers as the co-heads of the firm’s newly established practice groups that strengthen the firm’s deal making and intellectual property capabilities.
Lynette Koh and Lester Ho have been appointed Co‑Heads of the Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. Lynette and Lester collectively bring deep experience in complex cross‑border acquisitions, early-stage fundraising and late-stage strategic investments. Their leadership will enhance the firm’s ability to provide pragmatic, innovative legal solutions in a rapidly evolving and dynamic transactions landscape.
Basil Lee has been named Co‑Head of the Intellectual Property, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice Group, working with Una Khng. Basil specialises in IP strategy and regulatory advice in areas including data protection, consumer protection and cybersecurity. He advises on significant IP and TMT matters and represented clients in landmark litigation. Basil’s experience managing high‑profile disputes and precedent‑setting cases will bolster the firm’s dispute resolution and advisory offerings.
