Helmsman advises FGI Finance on a multi-jurisdictional one-stop facility for A2 Global Electronics + Solutions
Helmsman LLC has advised FGI Finance, a global leader in the commercial finance sector, on a multi-jurisdictional USD 65 million one-stop facility for A2 Global Electronics + Solutions, a leading distributor of electronic components.
This significant cross-border financing involved a comprehensive collateral package over account receivables, inventory, machinery and equipment across a number of key markets, including the United States of America, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Singapore.
Acting as Singapore Counsel to FGI Finance, Helmsman advised on the Singapore law aspects of the transaction and coordinated closely with foreign counsel on the structuring and implementation of the security and collateral arrangements across the various jurisdictions.
